Beyond Good and Evil (German: Jenseits von Gut und Böse; subtitled "Prelude to a Philosophy of the Future" (German: Vorspiel einer Philosophie der Zukunft)) is a book by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, first published in 1886.
Beyond Good and Evil takes up and expands on the ideas of his previous work, Thus Spoke Zarathustra, but approached from a more critical, polemical direction.
In Beyond Good and Evil, Friedrich Nietzsche accuses past philosophers of lacking critical sense and blindly accepting Judeo-Christian premises in their consideration of morality.




Beyond Good and Evil by Friedrich Nietzsche: The work moves into the realm "beyond good and evil" in the sense of leaving behind the traditional morality which Friedrich Nietzsche subjects to a destructive critique in favour of what he regards as an affirmative approach that fearlessly confronts the perspectival nature of knowledge and the perilous condition of the modern individual. Of the four "late-period" writings of Friedrich Nietzsche, Beyond Good and Evil most closely resembles the aphoristic style of his middle period. In it he exposes the deficiencies of those usually called "philosophers" and identifies the qualities of the "new philosophers": imagination, self-assertion, danger, originality, and the "creation of values".



He then contests some of the key presuppositions of the old philosophic tradition like "self-consciousness," "knowledge," "truth," and "free will", explaining them as inventions of the moral consciousness. In their place he offers the "will to power" as an explanation of all behavior; this ties into his "perspective of life", which he regards as "beyond good and evil", denying a universal morality for all human beings... Thus Spoke Zarathustra (German: Also sprach Zarathustra: Ein Buch für Alle und Keinen) is a philosophical novel by German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, composed in four parts between 1883 and 1885. Much of Thus Spoke Zarathustra deals with ideas such as the "eternal recurrence of the same", the parable on the "death of God", and the "prophecy" of the Übermensch, which were first introduced in The Gay Science.
Described by Friedrich Nietzsche himself as "the deepest ever written," the book Thus Spoke Zarathustra is a dense and esoteric treatise on philosophy and morality, featuring as protagonist a fictionalized prophet descending from his mountain retreat to mankind, Zarathustra. A central irony of the text Thus Spoke Zarathustra is that Friedrich Nietzsche mimics the style of the Bible in order to present ideas which fundamentally oppose Christian and Jewish morality and tradition....



Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche: The book Thus Spoke Zarathustra chronicles the fictitious travels and pedagogy of Zarathustra. The name of the character Zarathustra is taken from the ancient prophet usually known in English as Zoroaster (Avestan: Zaraθuštra), the Persian founder of Zoroastrianism. Friedrich Nietzsche is clearly portraying a "new" or "different" Zarathustra, one who turns traditional morality on its head.
Thus Spoke Zarathustra was conceived while Friedrich Nietzsche was writing The Gay Science; he made a small note, reading "6,000 feet beyond man and time," as evidence of this. More specifically, this note related to the concept of the eternal recurrence, which is, by Friedrich Nietzsche's admission, the central idea of Zarathustra; this idea occurred to him by a "pyramidal block of stone" on the shores of Lake Silvaplana in the Upper Engadine, a high alpine region whose valley floor is at 6,000 ft. The Antichrist (German: Der Antichrist) (also could be translated as The Anti-Christian) is a book by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, originally published in 1895. Although The Antichrist was written in 1888, its controversial content made Franz Overbeck and Heinrich Köselitz delay its publication, along with Ecce Homo. The German title can be translated into English as both "The Anti-Christ" and "The Anti-Christian." The English word "Christian" is called a weak noun in German and, in the singular nominative case, it is translated as "der Christ." Given the content of the book, the title The Antichrist is likely to imply both connotations (the same way as "Antichristianity" would in English).




The Antichrist by Friedrich Nietzsche: Friedrich Nietzsche claimed in the Foreword to have written the book The Antichrist for a very limited readership. In order to understand the book The Antichrist, Friedrich Nietzsche asserted that the reader "... must be honest in intellectual matters to the point of hardness to so much as endure my seriousness, my passion." The reader should be above politics and nationalism. Also, the usefulness or harmfulness of truth should not be a concern. Characteristics such as "Strength which prefers questions for which no one today is sufficiently daring; courage for the forbidden" are also needed. Friedrich Nietzsche disdained all other readers.



When Friedrich Nietzsche says in the preface, "Let us look one another in the face. We are Hyperboreans...", Friedrich Nietzsche was alluding to a mysterious, occult subject in Greek mythology, which spoke of the Hyperboreans (or Thuleans) as the original civilized and gifted race of mankind (cf. Julius Evola). Friedrich Nietzsche cleverly refers to the Hyperboreans to indirectly extol the heritage of pre-Christian, Indo-European paganism as compared to the deficient "southerliness" of the modern Judeo-Christian, egalitarian tradition...
